This citrus tahini dressing is creamy, tangy, and lightly sweet, with fresh orange juice adding a bright citrus flavor. It comes together quickly and is delicious over kale salads, roasted vegetables, grain bowls, wraps, or chickpea salads.

- ⅓ cup tahini
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ¼ tsp sea salt, or to taste
- 1–2 tbsp agave (optional, for sweetness)
- 1–2 tbsp water, as needed to thin
- Optional Add-Ins
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 1 tsp orange zest
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Pinch of paprika
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, finely chopped

Step 1
Add the tahini, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, and agave (if using) to a small bowl or mason jar.
Step 2
Whisk until smooth. The dressing may thicken at first—this is completely normal.
Step 3
Add the water, 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking after each addition until the dressing reaches your desired consistency.
Step 4
If using any optional ingredients, stir them in and taste. Adjust with more salt, orange juice, vinegar, or agave as needed. The dressing will thicken as it chills; whisk in water or orange juice before serving.
